About us

Our company, Goh Ban Huat Berhad, famously known as GBH, started from a ceramic factory establishment during 1890s in Jalan Segambut, Kuala Lumpur. GBH Berhad’s continuous innovation and product know-how has allowed the company to transform into a well-known and reliable house-hold name in the local mega projects be it Residential or Commercial. 

GBH, being the pioneer of many ceramic products in Malaysia, have been included in various Industry and Products Standards Promulgation Committees under the Sponsorship of SIRIM and had actively participated in Committee dealings with Standards for ceramic products such as ceramic bathroom products, vitriied clay pipes & ceramic table ware.

GBH is also a public company listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange) since 1989. 

Our Product Divisions are as follows : – 

1. Bathroom Products – Markets the GBH sanitaryware. This division has assists in the setting up of the Malaysia Standards and GBH was the irst company in Malaysia to introduce the dual lush 3/6 liter water saving lushing system. Malaysia is the 5th country, after Australia, USA, Singapore and United Kingdom to introduce the 3/6 dual lush. 

GBH sanitaryware conforms to Malaysian Standards MS147, MS1522, MS2578 and MS795. In addition to the ceramic wares, we are also distributor (Malaysia) of KOHLER Bathroom Products. 

We are noted for our various innovations and we are pleased to recount some of these achievements as follows in the Sanitaryware(Bathroom Ware Products) industry: 

• 2006 – First Company in Malaysia to introduce the Automatic Street Toilet . 
• 1990 – First Company to in Malaysia to introduce the Dual Flush Toilet. 
• 1995 – First Company in Malaysia to Introduce the Waterless Urinal. 
• 1996 – First Company in Malaysia to introduce the Lady Urinal. 
• 1996- First Company in Malaysia to introduce the Water Seal Squat Pan. 
• 2000 – First Company in Malaysia to introduce the Low Pressure Flush Valve. 
• 2007 – First Company in Malaysia to introduce the GBH 1.5 Liter Turbo Flush WC. 
• 2010 – First Company in Malaysia to receive Certiicate of Conformity from CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) Malaysia for Imported Product/Material 

2. Table ware – The ‘Crown Lynn’ brand name from New Zealand was bought by GBH Group in 1993 and its operations has been move to Kuala Lumpur. Crown Lynn’s history dated back to 1948 and it is now a Malaysian brand name which enjoy the patronage of the royal families across Malaysia, exclusive supplier of various Malaysian ministers ofices and residences, all Malaysia embassies worldwide and hotels and gourmet houses. All products are exclusively crafted to its excellence. 

3. Vitrified Clay Pipe – One of the world biggest manufacturing complex producing VCP, Clay Jacking Pipe, EZY Joint Clay Pipe and conform to international standards such as EN295 7 : 1991, MS IS0 9002. As our company establishment is spanning for more than 100 years, we are pleased to say that at least 70& of all the sewerage clay pipe laid in Malaysia were from our factory. Our jacking pipes were being short-listed and installed at the busiest avenue in SIngapore with a minimum disruption in pedestrian and traffic flow.
